Gumaluk® 5mg Chewable Tablets USP

Each chewable tablet contains:
Montelukast Sodium USP eq. to Montelukast…5 mg
Excipients………q.s.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Gumaluk® (Motelukast) is indicated for the treatment of asthma as an additional therapy in patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma, not appropriately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids and in whom the short-acting beta-agonists “on demand” do not allow an adequate clinical control of asthma. In those asthmatic patients where Gumaluk® (Montelukast) is indicated for asthma, it can also provide with a symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis.

DOSAGE

  • 6 months- 2 years: 4 mg in the form of mixed granulate with a spoonful of cold creamy food or at room temperature.
  • 2 – 5 years: 5 mg administered as chewable tablet.
  • 15 years and older: 10 mg once a day.

Carton containing 30 chewable tablets in blister pack and its leaflet.
