Gumaval® 250 mg Enteric Coated Tablets
Each enteric coated tablet contains:
Sodium Valproate BP…250 mg
Generalized or partial epilepsy
Primary generalized: convulsive, non-convulsive or absences and myoclonic.
Partial: with elemental symptomatology (including the Bravais-Jackson forms) or complex symptomatology (psychosensory, psychomotor).
Partial secondarily generalized.
Mixed forms and secondary generalized epilepsies (West & Lennox-Gastaut).

Caution: It may cause dependency.
Epilepsy: The recommended initial dose is 15 mg/kg/daily, which can be increased in one-week intervals in 5 to 10 mg/kg/daily until seizures are controlled.
Maniac disorders: In adults, the recommended initial dose is 750 mg in two or three intakes.
